Announcements:
- (24 Sep) Handwritten class notes based on the document camera are available in the Attachment section below: DD = notes directly taken on the document camera by David Draper; TC = notes (based on what was on the document camera) compiled by Teresa Coffey, the official class note-taker.

- (2 Nov) The discussion sections on Wed 11 Nov will not occur because that's a holiday. Those of you who regularly go to a Wednesday discussion section will need to go to a different section that week, as follows:
- if your regular section is Wed 9.30-10.40am, please go to the Tue 4-5.10pm section;
- if your regular section is Wed 2-3.10pm, please go to the Thu 8.30-9.40am section;
- if your regular section is Wed 5-6.10pm, please go to the Thu 2-3.10pm section; and
- if your regular section is Wed 6.30-7.40pm, please go to the Fri 11am-12.10pm section.
- If you can't go to these substitute sections because of class conflicts, please go to the earliest section in the week that is feasible for you -- it's your responsibility to take part in section that week and take the quiz.
- (4 Nov) The new due date for homework 3 is Tue 10 Nov 2015 in class.
